Overview:
The Worthy 1’s Mom’s Going Back2School program provides limited educational assistance to eligible participants pursuing academic, vocational, or workforce training. Assistance is intended to reduce financial hardship and may be used for approved education-related expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, and required materials.
- Funding Amount: $500 - $2,000
- Funding Disbursement: One-Time Disbursement
- Application Window: August 28, 2026 – September 11, 2026
- Awards Available: 2 Recipients
Eligibility Requirements:
- Single Mother or Primary Caregiver. At least one dependent minor child living in the household.
- Fresno Resident. Valid California ID or current utility bill required.
- Income-Eligible. Annual household gross income at or below $60,000.
- School Status. Enrolled or accepted at an accredited college, vocational school, or workforce training program for the upcoming term.
- Academic Standing. Continuing students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA; new students must provide proof of acceptance.
